Would regular bleach get rid of sweat stains in white tank tops?

For my marching band we have to wear white so I always have the problem of my white tanks getting yellow sweat stains under the arms and around the collar. I've tried vinegar and it lightens it but does not completely remove it. Would bleach do the trick? I'm not worried about losing the color because it's white.
